Caversham wildlife park
Caversham When we expressed a wish to go to a ZOO in Australia, our friend said no, You need to go to Caversham. She explained that You can pet animals there and that there were daily shows that are interesting for kids and we loved the sound of it. Black swan At the entrance a kind lady gave us a map of the park and marked times of events and shows. The park was not very crowded so it was a nice walk, we took our time. You can walk the whole park slowly and see it all in 2-3 hours. When we got to kangaroos we spent a while there, You could pet them and feed them, our son was really enjoying himself. Kangaroo petting and feeding We attended an educational farm show where we saw a stockman who taught us a little something about herding sheep, about shepherd dogs, milking cows, bottle feeding a lamb and shearing sheep.
